joni's maternity session ...

joni & scott are one of our best friends. we go way back and even traveled all over europe and greece together (before kids of course) so what makes this baby so special? years ago doctors told them they would never conceive a child on their own. so they did in-vetro and had perfect little zach. two years later adopted the an adorable little girl from china "paige"... and several years later out of no where she discovers she's pregnant! we recently found out it's a baby girl! it is just a miracle and we are all so excited and happy for them. can't wait to meet the newest member of the family!

I saw this commmercial a while back and just the other day on another favorite blog of mine. I recently walked through a home that was for sale. The people that lived in it had passed away but their memories and their life remained throughout their home. The house was full of beautiful family photos everywhere you looked. It was bitter sweet. This commercial really nails it for me.

Cincinnati Wedding Magazine ...

I thought I would blog this even though it's been out a little while. I was really excited to see Sara & Spencer's wedding being featurd in Cincinnati Wedding Magazine. Their wedding was so fun and colorful and one of the coolest couples around! Most of you know I started shooting mostly families but this past year I got crazy busy shooting weddings. Going into 2008 we have already booked 12 weddings which is a lot for me. I'm probably only accepting a couple more because I really want to focus on putting my heart & soul into each one. I truly enjoy getting to know these couples and telling their stories. I can't wait for the weddings to come!
