I was so excited when Stacey called me about shooting a maternity session a few weeks ago She is a first time Mom and sister of one of my favorite brides ... oh yeah and I adore her parents as well! I know you guys are dying to see some of these pictures ... Here are a few!

joni's maternity session ...

joni & scott are one of our best friends. we go way back and even traveled all over europe and greece together (before kids of course) so what makes this baby so special? years ago doctors told them they would never conceive a child on their own. so they did in-vetro and had perfect little zach. two years later adopted the an adorable little girl from china "paige"... and several years later out of no where she discovers she's pregnant! we recently found out it's a baby girl! it is just a miracle and we are all so excited and happy for them. can't wait to meet the newest member of the family!

I love shooting on location....

My last maternity/family session represented this more than ever. The original peace of art you see down below is a wedding gift the Dad made for his wife. I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop ... I just love all the vibrant colors!

I just did this maternity session yesterday evening. We went out to a field I spotted a month or so ago ... I couldn't pick a better backdrop for such a good looking family! Thanks to them for trusting me and letting me do pretty much whatever I could think up!
