On the Road Again ...

We're still on our journey around the east coast RV style. After visiting grandpa we went to visit JP's Uncle Pierre and Aunt Patty in Mass. We then drove south with a few stops along the way. At the moment, we're in Jacksonville, FL visiting my sister-in-law and her family. We leave tomorrow and head up the coast again for a South Carolina shore visit. Most people thought we'd go crazy in the RV with 4 little boys bouncing off the walls but they have been behaving exceptionally well. We've been playing board games, play dough, watching movies, even meal time has been good so far. We have stayed at a couple KOA's and those too were a pleasant experience. Keeping our fingers crossed the rest of the trip goes well.

For all my clients .... Amanda is holding down the fort up in Ohio. I'm also still working a bit so no worries. All sessions, albums, orders and emails are being taken care of ( a little slower on my part) but I thank you all for your patience. I know you all value your families as much as I do and we were long overdue for a "quality time" family vacation!









Uncle Pierre & Aunt Patty have a beautiful piece of property and the kids had a blast running around fishing, chasing chickens, and picking all the yummy fruits and vegetables they had ready for harvest!

RV Roadtrip Summer 08 ...

We've been RV'ing it around the east coast visiting family & friends the last week. As I mentioned internet is spotty so I'll post what I can when I can during our little adventure. The boys are having a blast and JP and I have been really enjoying the trip as well. We are in Mass heading south today! Here are a few pics of us with our the RV that our good friends let us use for this unforgettable trip !

Wild Flowers ...

I was so excited to find a patch of wild flowers during my session with this adorable family. The girls really enjoyed picking them and of course it was the perfect backdrop. Thanks guys ... I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you. Enjoy the rest of the summer and I'll see you soon!

Lorenz Family ...

I was fortunate to photograph the Lorenz family again this year. They are lovely people with so much style and class. I have many more beautiful images and I can't wait to show them!

While we were shooting we could see a big t-storm on the way. The skies were turning a dark grey blue and the wind started to pick up. Fortunately, I was able to wrap things up just in time!

Ali+ Bry : Part II

So get ready for a lot of images ... I'm still working on the slideshow but this should give you a good idea of how the day played out. Ali was a gorgeous bride and handsome Bry didn't look too shabby either. Their wedding party was a ton of fun and they rocked out until late into the night!

Last December I shot a wedding here in Dayton and met Shanna . She's a photographer down in Miami Florida (lucky girl). Sheri later called me and asked if I would be interested in helping her and another photographer friend "Sheri" out with some stuff. I hadn't done this sort of thing before but I thought why not .... so they both flew up and spent 4 days with me. We had a great time going over everything from shooting, photoshop, venders, equipment, blah blah blah ..... they even shot a wedding with me!

Booking Fall Session ...

Hope everyone is enjoying summer! I want to post this now before its too late. I've been scheduling fall sessions for a couple months now and I only have a couple dates left open in September. We stop shooting in early November to get all holiday cards & orders ready in time.

A Day in the Park ....

A couple weeks ago I spent a morning with the sweetest kids and their Mom. We went to Shafer Park because it is a special place for them. It was the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot. It was a beautiful crisp morning and I had a blast chasing them around while they played.

I love this image because it shows how happy & excited Jessica was to see Dan during their special moment!









Here is something I've never seen before but it was pretty tricky on Jessica's part ... she wanted to do pictures before the ceremony but didn't want Dan to see her in her dress. So what does she do ??? Well she buys two dresses of course :)
I loved it because she had no issues with getting the dress dirty during pictures!




This was so funny and I didn't even realize Dan's nephew in the shot until my friend (& 2nd shooter Libby) pointed it out. Looks like he was pooped uhh?

Katie + Kyle ...

So as I said earlier .... these two live in New York and are getting married in Dayton later this summer. I am especially excited because Katie is a talented artist and has so many creative plans for her wedding day. I got to see these gorgeous, colorful & vibrant centerpieces she designed for the tables.... and so many other cute details. We had a lot a of fun running around town shooting their engagement session and I know their wedding is going to be just as fun!
