I love shooting on location....

My last maternity/family session represented this more than ever. The original peace of art you see down below is a wedding gift the Dad made for his wife. I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop ... I just love all the vibrant colors!

Baby Olivia ...

I had a newborn session today that went really well. I was able to capture a lot of images because there was only one baby and she slept for most of the session. Mom & Dad might argue otherwise. But check out the sleepy images below. She looks so angelic doesn't she?

Meet Jessica & Sam . . .

We started this engagement session with Lily .... their 8 month old golden retriever. Then we mixed it up by shooting in different locations. An open field and downtown. Not only are they a gorgeous couple but they're fun, sweet and easy going. I can't wait until their August wedding! I played around with more textures. They give some of the images a nostalgic feel. Christian Berg ...

He's a local jazz musician. Chris plays all around town. Most recently I've heard him play at "Brio" @ The Greene and Pacchia's in the Oregon District. Welcome Baby Porter...

This newborn session could not have gone any smoother. The day was beautiful and both boys were in such great moods. There are lots of lovely images from this sweet family. Can"t wait for you to see them all. See you soon !

Too long ...

It's been too long since I've photographed these two! They could be in an Abercrombie Kids "poster" don't you think? We spent Memorial Day Weekend with one of my childhood friends and her family. These are her two beautiful kids below. It was great catching up and watching our kids play together. We miss you guys ...come back soon!

OK ... so the "R" really stands for Real Art. An uber-talented design group in town. But we thought how cute to find an "R" for Rachel. We couldn't resist taking a few shots. We had a blast running around the Oregon District today. Thanks Rachel and have a great senior year!

Summer has arrived ...

Photographing this family is a dream. I come out to their beautiful property, we drink some wine, eat a little and just hang out. The kids run around and play. While the adults chill out and catch up. Of course, we do the posed shots but the best ones are the unexpected. Like when the rain suddenly started pouring down. It was great! Thanks Miller family for the warm welcome back. Enjoy!

Last night I photographed a corporate event at the Cox Arboretum. These were some of the children who attended. I couldn't resist the beautiful light combined with these goregoues kids. I might post more later of the actual event because it was stunning!
