Everyone has been so patient ... I was shooting almost daily for about 2 months. Now trying to edit them all has been so overwhelming. Not because I don't love it but I wish I could be faster. I'm catching up ... promise! Here 's a little peak of this amazing engagement session at IU. Are these two not just gorgeous!

MIA ...

Sorry I've been MIA on the blog lately but my assistant Amanda is out of town this week, one of my kids got sick and I've been editing & meeting with clients all week while designing over 30 Christmas cards so far this year!

Here is a wedding I loved. Just Part 1 for now .... but a little something for them to see until I can see the light of day again!

Shooting in my new studio ...

This was Quinn's first year session and this time around he brought along his new baby brother. These boys are so precious.
Quinn has been such a character .... some of my all time favorites are of him. He is the little guy eating his feet in the bottom right bw image above.

Now that the temp outside has gotten cooler I've been shooting in my new studio. I've been experimenting with the light throughout the day. We painted the walls all white to bounce light and there are three walls of windows! Tons of natural light.
We've been so busy shooting, editing and client consultations that I'm not quite ready to post pictures of the entire space ... I have so much more i want to do. I have to take care of all my amazing clients before the holidays arrive. Studio pics ... new blog ... new website ... all in the new year! I can't wait :)

Hannah from down under ...

Several months ago I decided to join facebook ... it has been so much fun. I've connected with so many old friends and enjoyed keeping up with friends from near and far as well. In any case, one of my first "facebook" friends was JP's buddy Mark from Australia. He recently emailed me about a trip to America he was planning with his family.
They were in the US for about a month and stopped here for a visit. We had such a great time seeing them and I credit the whole thing to facebook.

Of course while they were here I had to do a few shots of their darling daughter Hannah.

Sisters ...

Here's a quick post of a recent session I did with two high school aged sisters. Mom wanted some images of the girls .... before you know it they'll off to college. It was a little cold out that day. I wanted to thank the girls for taking the time to do this for their Mom :)

The annual Miller family photo shoot ...

I cannot deny my love for the Miller family. I have been photographing them for a few years now and I always look forward to it ... I go down to their beautiful property and hang out with them for a few hours. There is always delicious food, wine and great company.

Without fail I always capture website worthy images ... starting with the 1st one below. These girls never fail me ... they truly belong in a Mini-Boden or Crewcuts catalog. Don't you love those freckles?

Dad continues to throw them up way high in the air ... btw- I have never photoshopped the kids in the air.

The Wire's ...

Another great family I got to photograph this year. I love all the doggie's that have been included in my sessions too. They make for some wacky, fun moments ... like the one below. It's been a great fall .... October was pretty mild and the colors were stunning!
